Prelude is a cabaret event showcasing brilliant new musical theatre writing and emerging talent. Brought to you by a team of Mountview graduates and friends, this event is a fundraiser to facilitate the next instalment of the Maiden Speech festival.
The evening will present songs from a number of new shows that are currently in development. Featured musicals include Liz, Turning 30, Much Ado About Hero, Brothers, Audrey and more.
Maiden Speech is a festival launched in 2017 that successfully staged nine new plays by female-identifying artists. Join us for a joyous evening celebrating new writing, memorable melodies and fresh talent.
